Joe Bowler, часть 1

Joe Bowler (1928 - ) начал свою профессиональную карьеру в 19 лет, когда его иллюстрацию приняли в Cosmopolitan. Один из популярных журнальных иллюстраторов 50х, работавших в Charles E. Cooper Studios, он заболел полиомиелитом в 1958 году и восстанавливался семь лет. Болезнь художника совпала с упадком журнальной иллюстрации, и он переквалифицировался в портретиста. Joe Bowler стал членом Общества иллюстраторов (Society of Illustrators) в 1952 году, а в 1992 году его выбрали в Зал славы иллюстраторов (Illustrators Hall of Fame).
